If I weren’t a weaver, I’d be a beachcomber. And this is my favorite beach rock so far. It reminds me to look closely.
My interest in art and making things began during my childhood, that eventually led me to art school, and surprisingly to a career in weaving. The process of creating cloth and clothing has now occupied decades of my life, and still engages my imagination.
Lately, textile tours to India and Japan have fed my desire for adventure and stimulus, and you’ll find images from those travels on the Inspiration page. Traveling has also rekindled my love of photography.
Take a look at what's caught my eye.
